Post Graduate Certificate in the Neuroscience of Leadership



Announcing the first ever offering of a Post Graduate Certificate in the Neuroscience of Leadership. This is the only program that awards a post graduate certificate in this field for change agents, learning professionals, educators and academics who want to understand the latest science of the brain and how it can improve human and organizational performance. This program connects the fields of leadership development and neuroscience in a science-based, action learning framework. The program will be delivered virtually to meet the needs of working adults.

The coursework focuses on the topics of Decision Making & Problem Solving, Emotional Regulation, Collaborating with Others, and Facilitating Change.

The foundational coursework in brain science is led by neuroscientist Dr. Dan Radecki.  The program also includes guest lecturers who are experts in relevant neuroscience fields. Participants will apply their learning of neuroscience in existing work, projects, and programs. These action learning segments may be applied across a variety of realms such as corporations, consulting or coaching practices, public sector practices, community programs and educational settings.

Launch of the October Intake

The first program commenced on 2 October 2009 with 37 students. Due to the level of interest and number of applications the program is running in two time zones concurrently. 

March 2010 Intake

Faculty includes:

  • Lead Professor - Dr. Dan Radecki who holds a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Biopsychology and Ph.D.in Neuroscience and brings a background in teaching neuroscience to this extraordinary program. His experience includes clinical research, instructor of medicine and corporate clinician in trial studies.  Dr Radecki brings his clinical and corporate experience to lead all participants through the program studies in a multi-media, experiential program format

  • Guest Professors include Matt Lieberman, PhD, Amy Arsten, PhD, YiYuan Tang, PhD, Kevin Ochsner, PhD, Mark Jung-Beeman, PhD and more.



Program affiliated with Middlesex University through PDF (Professional Development Foundation)

Upon completion of the program, students will be awarded a Graduate Certificate in the Neuroscience of Leadership from Middlesex University (www.mdx.ac.uk)  and PDF in partnership with the Neuroleadership Institute.
